Bryan Redington is an associate attorney at SLG. Mr. Redington graduated with cum laude honors from the University of California Berkeley (2010), with a degree in American Law History. Mr. Redington earned his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Oregon (2016). During law school, he focused his legal training on real estate transactions, and completed independent study with a local practicing attorney.
Mr. Redington previously worked at Geraci Law LLP, advising private money lenders and brokers across the country on compliance and loan documentation. Bryan drafted and closed commercial loans in all 50 states, including advising on: business purpose lending compliance, cannabis lending, usury, loan servicing, licensing, entity registration, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, hypothecations, mezzanine lending, and corporate structures. Bryan has experience drafting complex option agreements, purchase and sale agreements, servicing agreements, negotiated subordination agreements, non-disturbance and attornment agreements, reviewed and negotiated leases, tenant estoppels, yield spread agreements, opinion letters, and tenant-in-common agreements.

Mr. Redington has spoken at the American Association of Private Lender’s annual conference (2018) on HMDA Changes and regularly educates clients on new developments relating to compliance in commercial lending. Mr. Redington works in SLG’s real estate transactional department and also focuses on collection and foreclosure litigation, including the handling of surplus funds.
