Gavin M. Blair

Gavin is an Associate Attorney with SLG. He has earned a B.A. in English, an MBA in global management, a Ph.D. in international business from NorthCentral University (focus on Chinese business practices and negotiations), and has a Juris Doctor from San Francisco Law School.

Before focusing on law, Gavin worked in the financial sector including at the Federal Reserve Bank and MUFG Bank as an Account Manager. He also worked in Tokyo for a Japanese business consulting company. Gavin worked with foreign multinational companies entering Japan, China, and Hong Kong with market entry and go to market strategies, business incorporation, regulatory requirements, compliance, and business outsourcing services.

Gavin’s financial and business background has prepared him for the various real estate and business law issues he encounters at SLG.  Mr. Blair primary focus at SLG is on creditor bankruptcy and unlawful detainer matters.

Away from the office, Gavin enjoys being active which includes playing basketball, surfing, and mountain biking.
